Coping Resilience & Hope Building Conference - July 9th-11th 2010 - Brisbane

Ruth Fordyce presented a 1 hour workshop at the conference entitled "The Resilience Doughnut: A strengths-based model for building resilience in children and adolescents". This workshop was extremely well received and generated interest in the model from a range of attendees.

Pathways to Resilience conference - June 2010 - Canada
Lyn and Ruth had an amazing time attending this conference at Dalhousie University in Halifax (on the east coast of Canada). We met a wonderful array of people who are doing remarkable work around the world, researching resilience and implementing life changing programs with young people.

Building Resilient Kids - Wed Sep 1st and 8th 2010 - Sydney
These seminars will be helpful to parents and others who work with or support children. Week one will cover 'The Resilience Doughnut' and week two's topic is 'Negotiating the Peer Group'. You can attend one or both evenings.

Mental Health and Wellbeing of Young People - Fri Sep 10th 2010 - Sydney
Lyn Worsley will be presenting at this one day workshop for professionals, alongside of other experts in the youth mental health field, such as Paul Dillon and Michael Carr-Greg. Lyn Worsley will be presenting on "Resilience Strategies for Young People".
