Lyn Worsley is the author of the book, ‘The Resilience Doughnut – the Secret of Strong Kids’ which brings resilience into the common language of families.
Lyn is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Psychologist. She is also the director of Alpha Counselling Services, a busy group psychology practice in Northern Sydney.
Lyn has many years of experience working with children in a variety of settings: street youth work, schools, childcare, hospitals, prisons and local youth groups, and has presented many workshops to parents and professionals working with children.
Lyn is currently working with the University of Sydney’s school of Education and Social Work in a PhD research project based around resilience.
Sue Bull is a trained teacher and adult educator with an extensive background as facilitator and coordinator of programs for families in communities and organisations. Sue has worked as Parent Educator and Parent Liaison Officer with several dioceses and consults with schools and education offices across NSW.
Ruth Fordyce is an Intern Psychologist who works at Alpha Counselling Services in Eastwood. She works with children, young people and adult clients and is a Resilience Doughnut Accredited Trainer. Ruth presents the Resilience Doughnut to parents, school students and practitioners at a range of workshops across Australia.
