Mirella is a health professional, facilitator, stakeholder engagement and change management specialist, with more than 25 years of experience in working in and/or consulting with government, not for profit and the private sector on projects spanning various industries and a wide range of people from diverse professional, social, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Mirella has a passion for ensuring that the impacts on individuals or groups is considered first when planning any changes in community lives or when there is a need to act reactively to events that impact on communities. She considers one of her particular skills is her ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life and ages, to ensure people feel valued in the interactions that she has with them, by role modelling a strength based approach in her facilitation style. Mirella is known for her passion about educating, involving and influencing people.
Mirella has delivered a variety of training over her career, including cross cultural communication, disability awareness and career visioning sessions and been involved in many organisational change and community change projects. As a consequence, she has become a passionate advocate of imparting information and skills that will ensure more resilient children, adults and communities. Mirella has tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, Marketing and Organisational Behaviour and Change Management. She is also an experienced facilitator and mediator. Outside of work Mirella takes time out challenging her creative talents, volunteering, travelling in her camper trailer with her partner and two border collies and spending time with her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mirella is based in Sydney and the NSW South Coast and is available to travel for workshops about resilience across Australia.
