Zelinda Brown is based in Lismore on the Northern Rivers of NSW. She has had an extensive career having taught from Kinder to Year 12. During her career, Zelinda has had a diverse range of experiences both in the classroom and beyond. She has held school executive positions as well as had significant experience working in Pastoral Care roles in schools as a Head of House and Year Coordinator. She has also had significant experience working with special needs students. Zelinda is presently an Assistant Head of Religion which she combines with her classroom teaching and guest speaking commitments in both resilience and wellness. Zelinda’s strengths include being a good ‘people person’ and she has a reputation for bringing out the best in students, especially marginalised ones. She also possesses strong communication skills both with students and adults. Zelinda is passionate about building the resilience and well-being of young people in her care and is keen to spread the message and model of The Resilience Doughnut.
