This versatile teaching model can be used in workshops with schools and workplaces to implement our model of resilience – The Resilience Doughnut, interactively and practically.
When we or you are working with schools, we use this tool with students, parents and staff. This tool creates an and memorable learning experience about how to use already existing strengths to build resilience. When we or you are working with workplaces, we use this tool with staff teams to help them reflect on personal and professional resilience and with management teams to reflect on organisational resilience.
The large floor model includes all seven factors of The Resilience Doughnut Model as separate pieces which fit together to form the full model, like the pieces of a puzzle. It can be used with both children and adolescents, as well as adults, because three of the pieces are double sided to accommodate the differences in the two models. The pieces are printed with a white-board maker-friendly surface so that you can use this model again and again. The Large Floor Model is included when you complete the Licensed Facilitator Training in The Resilience Doughnut – Child & Adolescent Model or Adult Model.
